Group Sales
We are looking for people with an enthusiasm for Chicago and an understanding of the value of unique experiences to work on a part-time basis with group sales. Our private tours appeal to local business groups, conventions, and school groups, and we need someone to jump on board immediately to this demand. Minimal training, competitive commission.

Candidates must possess

• Exceptional organization and communication skills
• Experience in events planning or sales
• An established network of potential clients

Tour Guides
We accept applications on a rolling basis, and will especially need people for spring and summer tours for public and private groups. Background in tourism not required – more importantly please have teaching experience and also an understanding of customer service. While most tour companies use volunteer guides, we pay our guides for their expertise and hard work.

Candidates must possess

• An impressive knowledge of Chicago’s past and present.
• Background in art history, architecture or other kind of visual art.
  
• Clear presentation skills.
• An enthusiastic presence.
• Teaching experience.
  
• Fluency in French, Spanish, Italian, German, Russian or Chinese a plus.

Master’s degree preferred but not required. All guides undergo several weeks of training. We pay a competitive per-tour rate for this part-time, contract position.
